Satellite images having different resolutions of Earth Surface are displayed by the web service. It facilitates users to view the buildings, houses and cities as perpendicularly down or from birds eyes view. The resolution depends upon the population and different points of interests. Almost all of the land is covered at least 15 meters of resolution.
Users can search any address of any country, can browse any location and can enter coordinates to locate any thing. Google Earth provides the most of the images in 3D but in some areas of lands the images are available in only 2D. If we view such 2D images from perpendicular oblique angle, then objects which are far away from each other horizontally seem to be similar.
The data of Digital Elevation Model is used by the Google Earth which is supported by NASA. After 2006, various 3D views of mountains and buildings have been improved through this Data Elevation Model. This application also provides the facility to users to add their own data. Then this data is made available to various sources or bogs. This service is able to show almost all kind of images on the surface of the earth. It can show buildings, structures and skeletons. Now Google has added another exciting feature which facilitates users to monitor the traffic speeds. Now the latest versions also provide the facility of the street level view in many locations. So this is a very interesting application to use and take benefit from it.

Introduction to Google Earth
Google Earth is actually a virtual globe that provides the 3D view of the earth. Google Earth does this by taking the superimposition images which are taken from GIS 3D globe, Aerial Photography and Satellite Imagery. This web application is powered by Google as many of its other services like Google Maps. This application was originally created by Keyhole Inc which was later taken by Google in 2004. Google Earth was then again released in 2005 by Google.
Now this service is available for all personal computers having Windows Operation System latest from Window 2000, Linux Kernel having version so 2.6 or later, Mac OS X having version of 10.3.9 or later. In 2008 Google launched this service as a browser plugins. Soon after that this service was also made available to iPhone Operating Systems (iOS) for the mobile viewers. This service is now also available for the Android users.
Google Earth is a perfect tool to track phone locations as well.
